Module 3 in the BCST study program is Patterns of Experience / Body Architecture.
This study module examines the different bones that comprise the cranial vault. We also explore the dural membrane relationships to these bones and the ways the reciprocal tension membrane holds strain patterns. Working with "membranous-articular strain patterns" is a classical part of cranial osteopathy.
Therapeutic skills in this module include: the State of Balanced Tension, engagement of membranous strain, disengagement of sutural compression, and directing fluid and potency. This seminar provides the primary skill set that you will continue to use throughout your work with Craniosacral Biodynamics.
